Ottawa Senators Join Team Ross

Monday, April 2nd 2011 [Ottawa, ON, Canada] – The Ottawa Senators have joined ‘team’ Ross after their bold mid-season switch to Ross Video’s production gear to maximize their new Bell HD Screen at Scotiabank Place.
In an unprecedented five day turnaround, the Ottawa Senators production control room in Scotiabank Place is now HD, equipped with Ross technology including a Vision 4 Multi-Definition Video Production Switcher, XPression 3D Character Generator and Motion Graphics System, Blackstorm Video Server, NK Series Routing system and openGear Terminal equipment.
“The Senators have worked with Ross for over seven years, so when the decision was made to switch to HD, it made sense to partner with them,” said Stan Kertesz, audio and video production manager for the Senators. “Changing out our production equipment between games was an ambitious goal, but thanks to the team at Ross and the authorized Ross System Integrator, Blackwater Integration, headed up by Jesse Martello, we successfully completed the project in just five days. Ross worked with our team leading up to this changeover to ensure we were ready. On day six Scotiabank Place hosted a Senators game and we hit the ground running.”
